Inventive and well built cocktails. The space is low lit and swanky. Excellent service, delicious food, great service. Very long wait on a Friday night, but worth it for the quality and value. These cocktails would be twice the price anywhere else.

Sarah is awesome despite the fact that she was distracting me with her beautiful eyes the food came out on point. She was very descriptive on the menu. This was my first time here and prior to me sitting at the table in her amazing service. Cameron was able to help me at the bar from beginning to end with four different cocktails, plus the happy hour special none of which disappointed although in different categories, I was able to have a wide variety of different features from this amazing place. Be sure to try the ice cold shrimp cocktail or chilled seafood, ceviche, and the roasted turkey. The Wagyu beef dip was my favorite per Sarah’s suggestion

This place lives up to its 5 star reviews. Funny the one stars are people who did not even make it inside 🤣 we came for the 4pm happy hour on a Thursday and waited in line as they scientifically timed letting the line in. The place was full at 5 minutes to 5 when a couple took the last bar seats next to us and were able to get their happy hour order in before 5. We shared the daily special Reuben which is best I’ve ever eaten and had a few of the daily drink ($6 on happy hour🤯) called the clover club which was delicious but not very strong. Going back today to try the crab dip and today’s daily drink! Atmosphere and service spot on. And I did not feel overwhelmed by the place being completely full and talkative. It must have good acoustics.

Love this spot! Super cute and cozy inside with friendly staff. The drinks take a bit once you order but they have great cocktails. The sandwiches are delicious! Especially the Wagyu dip. The turkey Sammy dip is like having Thanksgiving. Highly recommend.

We went last night and it was fantastic! Firstly, Abraham at the door was happy, polite and very helpful. He managed to get us two seats at the bar! Thank you Abraham! On entering the super cool bar Jackie was very nice and really helpful and had great customer service. She took me to my seat while I waited for Will to arrive. Viviana and Dejan were fantastic behind the bar and produced superb cocktails! They were so knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you! Will ordered a beer after his cocktail and got two! It was superb and not even happy hour!! The food was really yummy too! I’ll pop in some photos below! Andy the Manager was excellent and again had wonderful customer service and popped by to check that everything was great which we said it was! All in all a fabulous night! The staff are all superb! Food and cocktails were super! We will be back in a couple of weeks with our niece from London! Thank you all for such a fantastic evening! Paula and Will

Absolutely had to check this place out as it is rated one of the best bars in the world from top food and travel magazines. And honestly? It delivers. This place is like walking through a time portal, from the retro interior to the uniforms and service, it’s truly a vibe. We got the breakfast martini, the clover club, the mojito, and gin martini to drink. And the Wisconsin cheese curds, and shrimp cocktail to eat. This place is all about the details, from the shaved ice in the mojito to the side of veggies instead of a garnish with the shrimp cocktail. 10 out of 10.

Overall great experience! The Breakfast Martini is still fresh in my mind- the side of toast is kitschy cute. As the name suggests, many dip options here. The two of us split the French dip, fries with 2 dip choices, and the pretzel bites. I loved the classic drink menu. Highly recommend for a snack and a cocktail.

Took the time on our most recent Chicago trip to go to Gus’. We got there right when they opened, and just watched the place fill up without ever being too loud. The vibes were exceptional, and please take time to visit the bathrooms for a true trip back in time. Service staff is incredibly accommodating and very mindful of allergies. They provided egg free dips and sauces for my wife and still included specialty food picks to prevent cross contamination. We started with the artichoke fritters, truffle cheese fries, and shrimp cocktail- all were incredible and a great start to the meal. My wife and I split the wagyu beef dip and the turkey dip, each were insanely good. Cocktails were all delightful, and having such a wide variety but still nailing each and every drink is nothing short of impressive. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing spot with great drink deals and delicious snacks! The $12 martinis really can’t be beat, and the food menu is good with lots of great options. The ambiance in here is very fun, but I recommend trying to get there as easy as possible since it fills up very quickly and they don’t take reservations. The breakfast martini was delicious and they have a fun drink menu with something for everyone. The fries and dipping options were yummy, but the cheese curds were amazing! I absolutely recommend.

I has such a wonderful experience at Gus' Sip & Dip! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere felt warm, cozy and inviting. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy quality food and drinks. We started with the crab dip, which was incredible Rich, creamy, and full of flavor -- easily one of the best I had. The artichoke fritters were Crispy on the outside and tender on the outside, perfectly seasoned and absolutely addictive. Pizza excellent. The warm olives were a simple but delicious touch, adding a savory balance to the table. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was fresh, chilled perfectly and beautifully presented. To top it at all , the Irish coffee was smooth, perfectly blended, and the ideal finish to the meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. You can really tell they care about both the food and the costumer experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommendig this place to Friends!
